Jean-François prepared us well ahead of time for the practical ACLS course with lots of reading on rhythms which were most helpful in the pre-course written exam.
On the day of the in-office practical, I found him to be very knowledgeable and very experienced. He delivered the ACLS material we needed to know in a professional and down-to-heart way. We all felt comfortable asking questions when needed. The hands-on simulation was extremely well done, he had life like simulation machines so we knew how hard we were compressing the chest, as well cardiac monitors displaying simulated blood pressure, rhythm, etc., that could easily be changed, prompting us to move into a new sequence of drug to administer. The team practice was most useful and practical; each of my nurses were able to run a simulated cardiac arrest and learn best practice patterns. He was extremely patient with us during this time. By the end of the practical, we all felt enriched with the knowledge he bestowed upon us. I have been on other ACLS courses in the past for recertification and I found these past two courses with M. Comeau exceptional! I learned for more than I did with other courses.
I have no reservations about recommending Jean-François Comeau as an ACLS instructor for other organizations.
